I was given a BodyTech (by Formula Ventures which doesn't seem to be in business any longer) weight machine, but I don't have an owner's manual or any documentation with it. The model number is 95300-15. It looked like a pile of scrap metal when I got it, but I've managed to piece together the major components. A couple of the cables were cut when it was disassembled (I didn't see it until it looked like a pile of scrap metal), so I'll have to make a couple cables to replace them. The problem is that I have no clue how the cables & pulleys are supposed to be configured. Anyone have a machine like this that could show me pictures or maybe suggestions as to where I might be able to get a copy of the owner's manual or assembly instructions? It has 2 weight stacks and 4 stations.
I'll try my best here. Photo 1 - cables from wt stack go straight up into top part with the circle thing.it them runs back down to the one that hangs down to about half way in photo 4 from there go to photo 5 and ir runs back up the attachmnet bit where the pec deck handles come out this should be the same for both sides this might not match up pefectly as you might the other cables attached to counter wt this but get back mew whith what that does on a secong glance, the botto pulleys attach to that middle bit so there will be 2 circle bits on top of each other.this will counter wt it try and see. Thanks for trying to help out.you don't know how much I appreciate it. I couldn't get very far with your descriptions, so I took a few more pics and added some labels to some of the parts.
Perhaps that will help make it a bit easier to talk about them. A couple of the cables were cut when it was disassembled (why???) and I'm not entirely sure that I have all of the cables, so where they are missing I'm trying to use a heavy string.when I get it figured out I'll replace the string with cable. Perhaps it would be best for me to start with the cable from station 2 (leg press) because I'm pretty sure that it's full length. PHOTO 15 shows the end of that cable, and it's obvious that it comes out on another station. I'm pretty sure that it attaches to either the leg extension or pull down bar in station 1.
If I can figure that out, it'll at least be a start. Thanks, Charlie. Photo 2 - 1c threads to 1d up to 4 then back down to where the 4 is.is there another circular attachment bit there? If you don;t have all the cable it will hard as they all 'pull'and counter wet each other i think. Photo 6 - i think that's where the hook end of a cable should go as an anchor sort of thing photo 8 - there is a cable with an attachment hook on it hagning in the air, that needs to to be anchored/hooked to another of those metal tabs like photo 6.you should start from these tabs i think maybe. Photo 11 - they should be on it somehwre obviously, but if you don;t have the cable for it we won;t know where it should go. Photo 12 - look right if that's what your asking photo 14 - look right just go bit by bit maybe.i'll look for something similar.
. 1140 Answers SOURCE: Hi, The stack weight upgrades are not sold at any retailers although the bar weights are freely available. They have to be obtained from the manufacturer, although it may be worthwhile contacting the retailer where you bought the machine from originally. I don't know your location, so I've provided the contact details for Marcy / Escalade for UK and USA: Escalade / Marcy UK Tel: 50 Fax: 81 Email: Escalade International Limited Pleasant View Road Penllergaer Swansea SA4 9GE Escalade / Marcy USA Customer Service - phone: 1-800-467-1206. Escalade USA don't provide any other contact details, e.g. An email address. They have web-request forms to complete with your enquiry.
Parts Request General information request Before purchasing you should also verify that the cable is rated for the additional weight you are intending to add as you may also need an upgraded cable. Rather than ordering lots of separate parts from different places which will be expensive in terms of shipping, I suggest you contacy Marcy / Escalade and order everything you need in one go.
If you need contact information for a different country, please post back with your location. Hope this helps Regards, BElectric. Posted on Nov 21, 2010. Like all body fat tests, body fat scales don't actually measure your body fat percentage.
They determine your body density. The examiner (or the scales) then uses a formula to calculate body fat percentage based on body density. These formulas just predict your body fat. Unfortunately there is no one formula that accurately predicts body fat for the whole population. Differences in age, gender, ethnicity, body size, and fitness level all have a significant affect on the results. Well, whether body fat scales measure your 'true' body fat percentage or not doesn't matter! As long as they can accurately monitor changes in your body composition over time, that's all you need.
Figure Out Where the Home Gym Will Go The first step to creating a home gym is to figure out where it will be placed within the home. If you have a separate room which you can set aside as your workout location, this is ideal. However, for those who have limited space within the home, it is completely possible to create a home gym in a room which is used for other purposes as well. Take a good look around the home and determine which area would be most suitable for your home gym location. Determine How Much Space Is Available When creating a home gym you also want to determine how much space you will have available. Doing so in the beginning will help you to decide what type of workout equipment you want to buy for your home gym.
Before making any equipment purchases, take down some measurements of the available space as this will prove helpful when shopping for workout products. Peruse Different Types of Gym Equipment Some individuals will know exactly what types of gym equipment they want to buy for their home gym whereas others may need to peruse the options before deciding on particular types thereof. Try searching various equipment options online and in fitness magazines to see which ones peak your interest. Also, if you are interested in working out specific portions of the body try searching for equipment which will work out those areas in particular. Shop for the Home Gym Equipment and Furnishings Once you have a good idea as to what type of home gym equipment and furnishings you wish to buy, the next step is to make the desired purchases. Buying items at sporting good stores and fitness retailers will often provide one with the most options.
Try visiting your local sporting good stores so that you can view the equipment in person and even try it out. Later, if you figure out what brand equipment you want and have tested it out in the stores, look online for the items as these may yield the best prices. However, just be sure that the online retailers ship for free as these products are often quite heavy which can make for extremely expensive shipping costs. In addition to the fitness equipment, you may also want certain furnishings in your home gym. Items such as a chair, towel rack and even a television for viewing while working out may be good purchases. Consider what extra niceties might fit perfectly within your new home gym and check out options with regard to those as well. Time to Set up the Home Gym Once everything has been decided upon, purchased and received, the final step is to set up your new home gym.
Prior to setting the equipment up you should already know where everything is going to go as it will be difficult to move things around too often due to the weight of a lot of exercise equipment pieces. Since most equipment will need to be assembled, try to do so in the home gym room as this will make for an easier time getting everything set up and ready to go. Once you have it all set up, you are ready to get started working out in the convenience of your own home.
